From May 9th to 11th, when you say yes to your dream dress at Reverie Bridal Outlet you will help to support a mother in your community. We have partnered with Alice House in the spirit of Mother’s Day Weekend- $50 from each gown sale will be donated to this local charity. Bride’s will also have the opportunity to make a personal donation if they choose to do so. Tax receipts are available for personal donations.

Alice House has been a pioneering force in Canada, serving as the second project of its kind in the nation. We are a Dartmouth-based charity dedicated to providing second-stage safe housing, support services, and counseling for women and children fleeing intimate partner violence. We have led a heart-strong and grassroots operation since 1983 and are proud to be celebrating our 41st year of community service.

We are acutely aware of the profound challenges faced by folks who have endured violence in their homes. We offer 18 units, prioritizing resident safety with security cameras, alarms, and kick-proof doors while allowing them to build credit and landlord history. Our wrap-around services include counseling for women and children, a food security program, an economic independence program, prevention education, and domestic violence court support. Our holistic trauma-informed approach addresses the multifaceted effects of violence, aiming to break the cycle of family violence and empowering survivors to heal and rebuild their lives with dignity.
